O'Connor OT announces Old Town Rehabilitation Collaborative

Open House July 26, 2018

I am humbled by the support and participation in our recent Open House and Ribbon Cutting.

Thank you for your generosity of time for attending to celebrate with us.

Thank you to the Old Town merchants* for generous contributions of amazing door prizes.

Thank you Dr. David Grimshaw for the introduction of Chris Sovey. Thank you David for recognizing that Chris Sovey and I may be kindred and may be a good match share this space and to partner our practices.  I am grateful for this opportunity to partner to Chris – with mutual value for bringing clinical skill, to do what’s right for the patient, and attention to detail in the business-sense.  I am excited to partner with another passionate provider such as Chris.

I am humbled and grateful for the support of our debut of Believe Gallery to honor the legacy of Nikki and Chris.  It belongs to you, the community.  You are welcome to here anytime.

With much gratitude,

Slainte (to your health),

Mike

O’Connor Occupational Therapy Services, PLLC is proud to announce program growth, expanded treatment space and new partnership as Old Town Rehabilitation Collaborative with Chris Sovey, DPT, BSN, RN, Healthy Consumer Physical Therapy.

Old Town Medical Arts Building is housed in the former Cedar Street School built in 1916. We are on the site of Lansing’s first school built in 1847!

O’Connor OT’s strong emphasis on patient and family education fits perfectly in a building that educated generations of Lansing students, and has been carefully rehabilitated and re-purposed for medical, health, and wellness practices.

Dr. Sovey’s background in nursing and practice in pain management, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, and his commitment to quality rehabilitation are all reasons I am excited about the potential to collaborate for those we serve at O’Connor Occupational Therapy Services PLLC!

Old Town Rehabilitation Collaborative’s shared space serves patients and families with ample designated handicapped parking, wheelchair accessible elevator, and patient access to fully accessible studio clinic.
